Stone and Crystal Metaphysical Properties: A Series

ADAMITE

Greetings all! Moondancer here with the first installment of stone and crystal meanings and uses. This will be a weekly blog post and we will be going alphabetically.

This week's stone is Adamite. Some stones will be unfamiliar to many of you, some are well known and loved.

Adamite

Most specimens of this stone are smaller than 1 inch. It is not used in jewelry due to its arsenic content, and is not suited for any form of internal or topical use. When making jewelry, I use tiny glass vials and chips of stones for the ones that are toxic if worn or ingested.

This stone can enhance the alignment of the heart and solar plexus chakras. Bringing a balance between our intuition and feelings, allows us to follow our highest excitement without second guessing ourselves and sabotaging our potential. Its elements are Fire and Wind.

Adamite allows us a better connection with spirit guides, angels, and ancestors, taking self-doubt out of the equation. It is a joyous and playful energy that connects with our inner being to boost confidence and gently ease depression, lifting us up to that love inherent in all beings.

It works synergistically with heart chakra stones such as Moldavite and Rose Quatrz, and solar plexus stones such as Citrine and Heliodor. Combined with Phenacite, it helps one to manifest visions into reality.

Physically, Adamite supports the adrenal system and thyroid as well as stimulating the pituitary and pineal glands. (Note: the pituitary regulates the thyroid)
